For years I've been known as "the baker" among my friends, and I often hear compliments after a bite or two of my newest treat being sampled during an afternoon visit. I enjoy the creativity that being in the kitchen allows me, and hearing, "This is SO good!" is just an added bonus!
I fell in love with a popular online lollipop store a few years ago, and was heartbroken when the owner made the decision to sell her business. Shortly thereafter, I made the decision to carry on the tradition established by my friend ~ that of excellent customer service, coupled with yummy tasting, high quality candy, and baked goods.
Thank you Kelly for not only being the inspiration behind SHLS, but for your invaluable advice regarding the entire confection making process. I owe you a "mountain" of gratitude!
As of November 2008 the gourmet chocolate candy that was once available through Kickshaw Confections is now offered through SHLS ~ exclusively! A large majority of the traditional KC items are made with the exact same recipe that customers have grown to love, while others have a delicious "Maureen style twist" as I add that creative touch that I'm known for! :)
In addition to our main site, SHLS confections can also be found through the Sweet Indulgence Congo on Hyena Cart (stocking at noon on the 1st and 15th of each month).
